A Seattle Police officer was hurt when he was hit by his private car as it was being stolen outside an Edmonds apartment complex. Shortly after 5:30 a.m. Monday, an off-duty officer discovered his Hyundai Santa Fe was being broken into outside the apartments near the 9500 block of Edmonds Way, according to Edmonds Police. The officer said as the suspects tried to get away in his car, they drove at him. He was hit and knocked to the ground. The officer fired one shot at the three suspects as they fled in his Hyundai.
