With temperatures falling below freezing in some places and some areas of western Washington seeing snow , the King County Regional Homelessness Authority has once again activated its severe weather response protocols and released a list of cold weather shelters open this week. The list has shelters in Seattle, Auburn, Burien, Federal Way, Kent, and Maple Valley. Click here to view the full list at the KCRHA website . Families across the region can call KCRHA's Family Shelter Intake Line at 206-245-1026 to be connected with a shelter bed and a ride to that location.
